New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially announced by-elections for the Budgam and Nagrota Assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the notification, polling will be held on November 11, 2025, while the counting of votes is scheduled for November 14, 2025.
The ECI has instructed the respective district administrations to make all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the elections. With the announcement, the Model Code of Conduct has come into immediate effect in both constituencies.
