Bomb Threats Create Panic at Two Delhi Schools, No Explosives Found in Search Ops

New Delhi: Panic gripped parts of the capital early Sunday morning after two prominent schools in Delhi — one in Chanakyapuri and another in Dwarka — received bomb threats via email, triggering immediate response from security agencies.

Around dawn, a PCR call was received by Delhi Police’s Dwarka North Station, alerting authorities to an email claiming a bomb threat at the CRPF School in Dwarka. Shortly after, a similar threat was reported at a school in the diplomatic enclave of Chanakyapuri.

Responding swiftly, local police teams, bomb disposal squads, sniffer dogs, and PCR units reached both schools and launched intensive search operations. The premises were completely sanitised, and all standard safety protocols were followed. No suspicious object or threat was detected at either location.

Cybercrime teams have now taken over the investigation and are working to trace the origin of the email. While the threats appear to be hoaxes at this stage, Delhi Police has increased security around the affected schools as a precautionary measure.
