New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report was tabled in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. BJP spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharjee accused AAP of a massive financial fraud amounting to ₹2,026 crore and asserted that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will soon be punished.

Speaking to new agency, Bhattacharjee alleged that AAP has covert ties with leftist factions and compared the alleged scam to past financial mismanagement in Tripura under left-wing rule.

“The real face of AAP is being revealed now. Tripura was also a leftist state, and after a long struggle, BJP brought change. AAP may not openly say it, but their way of working reflects their deep-rooted connections with the leftists. The CAG report has exposed a ₹2,026 crore fraud, and Kejriwal must answer why the report was not submitted for the last 10 years,” Bhattacharjee stated.

The BJP leader further claimed that AAP’s leadership is linked to anti-national activities and must be held accountable. “This is not just Kejriwal’s party. Those associated with him are involved in activities against national interest. They portray themselves as revolutionaries by putting up images of Bhagat Singh but have links with extreme leftist groups,” he alleged.
