BJP win assembly elections in West Bengal and will retain power in Assam: Amit Shah

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has exuded confidence that BJP win the assembly elections in West Bengal and will retain power in Assam. Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Mr Shah said, in West Bengal, BJP will win more than 26 out of 30 seats which went to polls in the first phase yesterday and in Assam, it will get than 37 out of 47 seats that went to polls.

He said, the voting percentage shows enthusiasm in people in West Bengal and Assam. Mr Shah said, BJP will get more than 200 seats in West Bengal and will increase its seats in Assam. The Home Minister said, after many years, the polling process was held without any incident of violence in West Bengal. He said, peaceful voting in Assam, West Bengal is a positive sign for coming days. Mr Shah reiterated that his party will win over 200 out of 294 seats in West Bengal.
