New Delhi: Newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Patparganj, Ravinder Singh Negi, has leveled serious allegations against former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia. Negi claims that upon visiting his constituency office, previously held by Sisodia, he discovered that essential office items such as air conditioners, televisions, chairs, and other furniture were missing.
In a video shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Negi condemned the alleged theft, saying, “Ye dekhiye sab khali. Kursi, table sab le gye. Yeh chor log hain chor. Itni sharm nahi hai inlogon ko jo doosra vidhayak baitheha woh kahaan baithega. Itne Bhrashtachari hain yeh log.” (Look, everything is empty. Chairs, tables, they’ve taken everything. They (Manish Sisodia and AAP) are thieves. They didn’t even think about where the new MLA would sit. These are corrupt people.)

Negi further accused Sisodia’s team of stealing around 250 chairs from the office hall. “Former MLA @msisodia of Patparganj from Aam Aadmi Party had shown his true face even before the elections. Items like AC, TV, table, chair, and fan were stolen from the Vidhansabha camp office,” Negi tweeted. “Their corruption has not crossed all limits yet. Now they have become experts in the politics of hiding their reality and stealing.”
Sisodia, who held the Patparganj seat before Negi, had resigned from his deputy chief minister position following his arrest in connection with the alleged liquor excise policy scam.
This accusation from Negi comes on the heels of another controversy involving the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Last week, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva accused AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal of “stealing” the digital identity of the Delhi Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) by renaming its official X handle to ‘Arvind Kejriwal at work.’ The account was later deleted, and Sachdeva sought an inquiry from the Delhi government’s IT and social media departments.
