Every parent should be familiar with their child, says IEM School, Sopore chairman Farook Ahmed Malik

Srinagar: Every parent should be familiar with their child according to his or her age group and guided them how to make their parental role an easy phase of life, for the successful nurturing of the child, remarked Farook Ahmed Malik, chairman of Islamic English Medium (IEM) School at Mumkak, Sopore.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion of the school’s annual day Farook Ahmed Malik stressed upon the need for special focus on students and upon the students to work hard and smart and be confident to face the challenges of real life.

Islamic English Medium School Mumkak Sopore, celebrated its annual day function on Sunday amidst much fanfare. The day is celebrated at the close of the academic session of the school. It also provides an opportunity to assess the achievements and shortfalls. 

Farooq Ahmad Malik was chief guest on the occasion accompanied by many other dignitaries. The function generally begins with “Natya Kalaam” and includes a series of thematic performances, ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism, unity in diversity, parental love, social issues and many more. 

The audience comprising students, faculty, staff, chairman of school etc, enjoy every item of the programme with great fun. Students were highly jubilant and appreciated the performances of their fellow students by putting their hands together.

The students were lauded for their academic achievements and the event culminated with the annual prize distribution for session 2020-2021.The annual report of the session was released and read by the principal of the school. The celebrations concluded with a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.
