Uttarakhand BJP minister visits Handwara, says aim is to boost morale of party workers

Srinagar: Uttarakhand of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Minister of State Shamim Alam Khan on Monday paid a visit to Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara region. He said that the aim of his visit was to boost the morale of the party workers in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Reacting to recent civilian killings in Kashmir, he remarked that Pakistan was responsible for the killing of innocent civilians. No religion preaches hate and terrorism, he said. He also said that Kashmir is an integral part of India and it will always remain an integral part of India. 

During his tour, he paid a visit to village Baki Aker, Handwara where he met party workers, including Ghulam Nabi, Mohammad Hafeez, Adv Sajad Gani and others at the residence of Ghulam Nabi. 

Later on, Shamim Alam Khan met BJP State spokesperson and Executive member Ghulam Mohammad Mir. 

He also said that the BJP government is committed to the uplift of the poor and weaker sections of society. The country is in strong hands, and the country is moving forward on the path of progress under the slogan, “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas”, he added.
