Javid Qureshi holds anti 13 July rally in Handwara, termed it black day

Handwara: Bhartiya Janta Party fire brand leader Javid Qureshi on Tuesday held protests along with his supporters and termed July 13 as ‘black day’.

He said the observance of July 13 as the Martyrs’ Day by some political parties was akin to rubbing of salts into the wounds of the minority community.

He said that hundreds of innocents were killed on this day and remembering it Martyrs Day was a big joke to the whole nation.

“The terrorism does not started in nineties but it did started on 13th July 1931 by killing of hundreds of innocents,” he added.

Javid termed the present regime lead by Prime Minister at centre as people friendly which has raised a new ray hope among people in Jammu and Kashmir with regard to peace and prosperity.
