Divya Khosla Kumar has extended her support to television actor Pearl V Puri is been charged of sexual assault with a minor.
Pearl has worked with Divya in one of her music videos. After the arrest of Pearl, he has gained support from the television industry, and they feel he is innocent.
Amid the allegations levelled against Pearl, Divya believes that the actor has been falsely accused of raping and molesting the minor girl on the sets of one of his shows.
Recently, Divya penned a detailed note on social media in which she said that Pearl has allegedly been framed in the case by the girl’s father who is fighting a custody battle with the girl’s mother and has used Pearl in the case for his benefit.
Divya also shared a picture of the couple posing with their daughter.
As mentioned by Divya in the post, the father had reported the incident back in 2019, however, he never named Pearl in the case and it’s only now, in 2021, that he accused the actor of molesting his daughter.
Divya also requested everyone to not let this incident ruin Pearl’s career and his life.
