Maharashtra unlock: Government to lift lockdown in phase manner, local trains for general public in last phase

Maharashtra government is thinking to start the unlock process in a phase manner. As per reports from media, unlocking will be done in four phases and in the last phase local trains will be allowed for the general public.

Maharashtra government is considering extending the state-wide lockdown by a week, sources informed CNN-News18.

First phase will see the opening of non-essential shops in a staggered manner. The final decision on whether phased unlocking should start from June 1 or from June 7, will be taken in the cabinet meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
