Former Union Minister and RLD Chief Ajit Singh passes away

Former Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal Chief Ajit Singh passed away today after battling with corona virus. His son Jayant Choudhary has confirmed that Ajit Singh took his last breath in the morning.

Mr. Singh was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Gurugram after being diagnosed with the Covid infection. He had tested positive for Covid on 20th April of last month.

President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed grief over the demise of Ajit Singh. In a tweet today, Mr. Kovind said, Mr. Singh always raised his voice in the interest of farmers. He said, as a public representative and a Minister, Ajit Singh has left a unique mark on the politics of the country.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has expressed grief on the demise of former Union Minister Ajit Singh. In a tweet, Mr Naidu said, his contribution for progress of agriculture and farmers will always be remembered.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the demise of former Union Minister Chaudhary Ajit Singh. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, he was always dedicated to the welfare of the farmers. Prime Minister said, Chaudhary Ajit Singh efficiently discharged the responsibilities of several departments at the center.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has expressed grief on the demise of former Union Minister Ajit Singh. In a tweet, Mr Javadekar said, Ajit Ji’s entire life was dedicated to the welfare of farmers and he made many notable contributions in public life. He expressed condolences to the family and admirers of Ajit Singh.
