Shiv Sena has decided to fight upcoming Bihar elections and it is speculated that it will field a candidate against former Bihar police Chief Gupteshwar Pandey. Now, Shiv Sena has released a list of campaigners for Bihar election.
The list has the name of top brass, which includes chief minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray, his son and minister of tourism Aditya Thackeray, MP Sanjay Raut and many others.
As per reports Shiv Sena can fight on 30-40 seats in Bihar. The Rajya Sabha member said a decision on the number of seats to be contested is expected to be taken in a day or two.
“Our people in Bihar want us to fight 50 seats. We are saying we should contest 30 to 40 seats,” he told reporters.
The Bihar Assembly polls will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and November 7, and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
