Maharashtra’s first State Election Commissioner Dr Neela Satyanarayan passes away

Former Election Commissioner of Maharashtra State Election Commission, Dr Neela Satyanarayan, from 1972 IAS batch is no more. She passed away fighting corovid-19 at Seven Hills Hospital, in Mumbai.  As per reports she died at 6.30 am this morning.

She is known for her no nonsense bureaucrat. Satyanarayan was always ready to listen and find a solution to any problem. She was a writer, poet and thinker and on top of it she was an officer who gave 100 per cent to her job.
