New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday intensified its attack on the Congress, with national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari directly questioning Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over alleged electoral fraud.

Speaking to the media, Bhandari accused the Congress of “vote chori” (vote theft) and demanded a public apology. “…We want to ask five questions to Rahul Gandhi. Was he aware of the multiple EPIC IDs of Pawan Khera? Will he call Pawan Khera a vote chor? Will he admit that the Gandhi-Vadra family is against SIR to protect their vote fraud? They promote infiltration…” he said.

Bhandari further raised questions about the past electoral record of Congress’ top leadership. “How was Sonia Gandhi’s name in the electoral roll when, in 1980, she was not a citizen of India?… Will he accept that Congress itself is involved in vote chori?” he asked.

The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Congress party has historically benefitted from voter list manipulation and illegal entries, claiming it to be part of a larger conspiracy to distort democracy. “Rahul Gandhi and other leaders involved in this vote fraud should apologise to the nation,” Bhandari added.
