Varsha Gaikwad Compares Voter Fraud Fight to Quit India Movement on August Kranti Diwas

Mumbai: On the occasion of August Kranti Diwas, Congress MP Varsha Gaikwad drew a strong parallel between India’s freedom struggle and the party’s ongoing fight against alleged voter fraud.

“Just like in the past when the slogans ‘Do or Die’ and ‘Quit India’ were raised, similarly here, the fight against those trying to steal votes will continue. Rahul Gandhi is leading this struggle and we will keep fighting until we get the voter lists and CCTV footage to expose the wrongdoing,” Gaikwad declared while addressing a gathering.

Her remarks came amid the Congress party’s continued accusations against the Election Commission over alleged irregularities in voter rolls. The demand for voter lists and CCTV footage has been central to the party’s push for transparency in the electoral process.
