Subsequent interactions led to meetings in Jaipur and Mumbai, during which Jindal allegedly professed romantic inclinations, shared personal details, and made promises of material gifts and a lavish lifestyle.
The woman asserted that she refrained from approaching the authorities initially due to fears of reprisal from Jindal, considering his influential status. She mentioned feeling traumatized but eventually found the courage to file a police complaint, disregarding purported pressure and bribery attempts to retract the FIR.
The FIR, registered on December 13, 2023, encompasses severe charges under the Indian Penal Code, including sections 376 (punishment for rape), 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).
The police have initiated an investigation into these grave allegations, marking a significant moment in addressing the allegations against the prominent industrialist.
