Srinagar: A meeting on developmental issues was organised by the Indian Army on Monday at the Army Goodwill School at Dawar with aim to catalyse development and redress grievances of the locals.
The meeting was chaired by the Deputy commander of the Gurez based Snow Leopard Brigade and was attended by officers of the Civil Administration, Police, DDCs, BDCs, Sarpanch’s, Ex-servicemen, Ex MLA Nazir Gurezi and other public representatives from all across Gurez and Tulail valley.
The public representatives submitted various developmental issues which the officials of the Army and Civil Administration promised to work jointly to mitigate them at the earliest.
The meeting was followed by a sumptuous lunch for all attendees who thanked the Indian Army and Civil Administration for the proactive initiatives undertaken by them.
