Indian Army organises medical camp at Chayalpatti in collaboration with Ayush department, Handwara

Srinagar: Wherever the practice of medicine is loved and respected, there is also a love for humanity. To celebrate World Health Day, the Indian Army organised a day-long medical camp at Chayalpatti, Drugmulla in collaboration with Ayush department of Handwara to treat the sick and needy from the remote areas. 

Leading specialist doctors drawn from civil administration were pooled in for the camp to render on the spot consultation and treatment to the patients.

In this medical camp Dr Syed Ubaid, Dr Seema Bashir, Dr Shayista Fayaz, Dr Iqra Manzoor and senior Pharmacist, Nazir Ahmad also participated.

The medical camp was organised under Operation Sadbhavna to provide medical care to the villagers in the area. A total of 196 local people including children, women and elderly people, visited the camp and consulted the doctors. Besides medical consultations and check-ups, medicines were also provided to the people

Villagers appreciated the initiative taken by the Indian Army and expressed hope that such types of medical camps are organised across Kupwara for the benefit of people.
