A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in Village 84 South, near Sargodha, where a 12-year-old house help tragically lost her life due to alleged torture inflicted by her employers. The distressing episode sheds light on the dire situation faced by minors compelled to work amidst economic hardships, as reported by Geo News.

According to local authorities, the young girl served as a domestic worker for a figure named Jawad Bhatti and his wife. Shockingly, it is alleged that Bhatti and his wife subjected the girl to brutal abuse, using iron rods and sticks in their horrifying act. After the girl’s death, the suspects reportedly misled her family, falsely claiming that she had sustained injuries in an accident. However, upon arrival, the family discovered the grim truth: their daughter had been tortured and killed. Adding to the tragedy, Bhatti and his wife fled the scene, prompting a search by law enforcement for their apprehension.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has swiftly responded to the tragedy, taking notice of the incident and requesting a report from the inspector-general of police. She emphasized the urgent need for a thorough investigation and called for swift justice, asserting that violence has no place in Punjab.
