NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) MLA Zeeshan Siddique has allegedly received a fresh death threat through a voice message circulating on social media, prompting renewed security concerns. The message is purportedly linked to gangster Zeeshan Akhtar, one of the prime accused in the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.
The audio clip, which has surfaced online, is being examined by investigating agencies to verify its authenticity.
Threat Allegedly Issued Through Social Media Voice Note
According to reports, the threatening message was delivered through a voice note shared on social media. The person heard in the recording allegedly identifies himself as Zeeshan Akhtar and warns the Bandra East MLA of serious consequences.
The voice note reportedly claims responsibility for the killing of Baba Siddique and threatens similar action against his son, while also warning him against cooperating with law enforcement agencies.
Prime Accused Still Wanted By Investigators
Zeeshan Akhtar remains one of the key accused in the Baba Siddique murder case and is currently wanted by the Mumbai Crime Branch along with other investigating agencies. Authorities believe he is operating from outside India and have been pursuing efforts to trace his whereabouts.
Investigators are now expected to examine the latest audio clip as part of the ongoing probe to determine whether it originated from the wanted accused or any associate.
