Jammu: Young writer and researcher of Central University of Jammu, Shashank Kulkarni will be honoured with the ‘Rashtriya Prerna Award’ for 2020-21 for his contribution to agricultural policies.
This prestigious award is given annually by the International Organization ‘World Book of Star Records’ to individuals who have done outstanding work in various fields at the national level. The organization is headquartered in Chicago, USA and Indore, India. Dr. Rajeeb Pal, the director of the institute, informed Shashank Kulkarni in a letter that he has been selected for the award.
Presently Shashank Kulkarni is working as a Senior Research Fellow of the University Grants Commission (UGC). He has been researching India’s agriculture and farming policies for the last four years at the Department of Public Policy and Public Administration, Jammu Central University, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
