Nora Fatehi’s rise to stardom in Bollywood has been nothing short of remarkable, but the journey has had its share of challenges. The actress recently recounted a distressing incident from her early days in the industry when she faced humiliation and assault from a co-star during a shoot in Bangladesh.
Speaking candidly on The Kapil Sharma Show, Nora revealed the harrowing ordeal she endured while filming the 2014 movie ‘Roar: Tiger of the Sunderbans’. Without naming the co-star involved, she detailed how a disagreement escalated into a physical altercation.
According to Nora, the altercation began when her co-star misbehaved with her, prompting her to retaliate by slapping him. However, the situation quickly turned violent as the co-star retaliated by slapping her back and pulling her hair. The altercation escalated until the director intervened to separate them.
Despite recounting the incident with a sense of humor, Nora admitted to feeling traumatized at the time. However, she remained steadfast in her resolve to stand up against the mistreatment.
On the professional front, Nora is gearing up for the release of ‘Crakk’, a highly anticipated film slated to hit theaters on February 23. The movie, which features Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles, promises to be India’s first-ever ‘extreme sports action film’.
Additionally, Nora has exciting projects lined up, including a role in ‘Housefull 5’ alongside Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, as well as Sajid Khan’s directorial comeback, ‘100%’. Despite the challenges she has faced, Nora continues to carve her niche in the industry, showcasing her talent and resilience with each new endeavor.
