Lambasted Mumbai BJP president Adv. Ashish Shelar
Mumbai: Sharad Pawar, the father of politics of betrayal, has once again demonstrated his disregard for truth by making baseless remarks against union home minister Amit Shah. In a hard-hitting response, Mumbai BJP president and state Information & Technology Minister Ashish Shelar lambasted Pawar for his history of political treachery and opportunism. He said that Pawar Saheb, it was owing to your deceitful politics that you have been rejected by the people of Maharashtra. Shri. Shelar was talking to media persons at the BJP state office on Tuesday. State BJP coordinator Vishwas Pathak and BJP state media in-charge Navnath Ban were present on this occasion.
Shri Shelar highlighted Pawar’s admission about becoming chief minister with the support of the Jana Sangh when he had formed the ‘Progressive Democratic Front’ government. But when you formed this government, what kind of brainstorming went behind the betrayal and backstabbing, against whom was it done….let the people of Maharashtra get to know this history in detail.
The courts have acquitted union home minister Amit Shah, clearing his name with due judicial process. Yet, if you choose to ignore this truth and continue to criticize him by disregarding the courts verdict, don’t compel us to remind people about the numerous cases, including ‘Lavasa’ and towards whom fingers were pointed, Shri Shelar warned.
Shri. Shelar said that when Sharad Pawar criticizes union home minister Amit Shah in such a disgraceful manner, it is a glaring reflection of Pawar Saheb’s deep-seated political inferiority complex.
Pawar Saheb has trained Uddhav Thackeray in the art of betrayal, the fact that became evident after the 2019 Assembly elections. However, the people of Maharashtra have given a strong response to this politics of deceit through the ballot box. The Maha Vikas Aghadi that was formed out of sheer greed of power stands as a fragile alliance teetering on the edge, destined to collapse the moment its expiry date arrives.
