The Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) has registered a decisive victory in the Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVCMC) elections, winning an absolute majority and retaining control of the civic body. According to the final results, the BVA emerged as the single largest force with 71 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finished second with 43 seats.
