Uttar Pradesh: 8 people die in tragic accident in Barabanki district

8 people died and several injured in a tragic accident in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh this morning. Accident happened near Baburi village under dewa police station of Barabanki district when a tourist bus collided with a truck coming from the other side. 8 people died on spot and more than a dozen were injured. Around 70 people were there in the bus which was coming from Bahraich district.

Senior administrative and police officials reached the spot and started the rescue operation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the accident and directed officials to provide every possible help immediately. The Chief Minister announced an Ex-gratia of 2 lakh rupees each for the families of deceased and 50 thousand rupees for those who are injured in the accident.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in a road accident in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. He announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund to the next of kin of the deceased and 50 thousand rupees to the injured.

Mr. Modi described the loss of lives due to a house collapse in Belagavi, Karnataka as saddening. The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees each to the next of kin of the deceased.
