In Uttar Pradesh, six policemen have been suspended after a businessman succumbed to death during a late night verification drive by the police in a hotel in Gorakhpur.
An FIR under the charges of murder has also been registered against the accused. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered strict action against the culprits. The Chief Minister has also ordered an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 10 lakhs to the family of the deceased.
