Ashish Shelar Counters Raj Thackeray: ‘Nation First’ is BJP’s Unshakable Mantra

Mumbai: In a robust rebuttal to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s recent criticisms, BJP leader and Minister Ashish Shelar emphasised the Bharatiya Janata Party’s unwavering commitment to national interests and its consistent ideological stance.

Through a post on X platform, Ashish Shelar highlighted the party’s steadfastness in its principles, contrasting it with the shifting narratives of others, particularly Raj Thackeray. Shelar’s words were sharp and clear. He reminded everyone of the BJP’s uncompromising stance on key issues that defined India’s cultural and political identity.

Adv Shelar highlighted the BJP’s dedication to national unity and integrity, citing the party’s steadfast support for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

He underscored the BJP’s advocacy for a uniform national identity, referencing the removal of Article 370 as a significant step toward this goal.

Adv Shelar pointed to the party’s support for infrastructure projects like the Kashi Corridor and Ujjain Corridor, emphasising the BJP’s focus on development.

He mentioned the BJP’s commitment to social welfare through initiatives aimed at uplifting the underprivileged, including the concept of ‘Antyodaya’ (upliftment of the last person).

Adv Shelar reiterated the BJP’s dedication to the vision of a unified and strong India, aligning with the ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ (One India, Great India) initiative.

He noted the party’s unwavering support for national security measures, including the Pokhran nuclear tests and the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Adv Shelar emphasized the BJP’s dedication to national unity, quoting, “Governments will come and go, parties will form and break, but this country must remain.”

The BJP leader Shelar then turned his attention to Raj Thackeray, who had been attempting to set a new narrative in Maharashtra’s political discourse. Shelar pointed out that Thackeray’s rhetoric failed to resonate with the people. The masses, he argued, saw through the superficiality of such narratives. Instead, their unwavering support was with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose leadership and vision had earned their trust and admiration. This support, Shelar noted, was only growing stronger with time.

In his closing remarks, Shelar posed a question to Thackeray and others who questioned the BJP’s approach: “Is there something to learn from this?” The answer, he implied, lay in the BJP’s unwavering commitment to its ideals and its ability to connect with the aspirations of the people. The story of the BJP, as Shelar told it, was one of resilience, principle, and an unyielding dedication to the nation. It was a story that resonated deeply with the people, a story of “Rashtra First.”

  3. I’ve learned some important things by means of your post. I might also like to say that there might be situation where you will make application for a loan and never need a cosigner such as a U.S. Student Support Loan. But if you are getting that loan through a conventional loan provider then you need to be prepared to have a cosigner ready to make it easier for you. The lenders can base any decision on the few issues but the largest will be your credit history. There are some loan providers that will in addition look at your work history and make up your mind based on that but in most cases it will hinge on your scores.
