The agency’s work remains vital, especially after the United States’ unilateral withdrawal from the deal in 2018 under President Donald Trump, which led to a gradual reduction in Iran’s cooperation with the IAEA.
During his upcoming visit to Iran, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi is scheduled to hold important meetings with Iranian officials, including Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, and President Masoud Pezeshkian.
