Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule strongly criticized the recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on I-PAC offices in Kolkata, describing the action as undemocratic and concerning.
In a statement to the media, Sule said, “It is very sad what happened in Kolkata. I-PAC had a raid, and all the files concerning the internal issues of the TMC were taken away. This is completely undemocratic. We condemn any such actions.”
The raid, which targeted internal documents related to the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal, has sparked widespread debate over the independence of institutions and political interference in democratic processes. According to reports, several files and digital records were seized, raising questions about transparency and the procedural justification for such actions.
