Vijay Shivtare, a prominent figure within the Shiv Sena’s Shinde group, launched scathing remarks against Ajit Pawar, warning of his intent to contest independently in the Lok Sabha elections from Baramati. In response, Anand Paranjpe, spokesperson for the NCP Ajit Pawar group, swiftly fired back, condemning Shivtare’s remarks as inappropriate and calling for restraint from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in controlling his party leaders.
Paranjpe emphasized the importance of maintaining a united front within the Grand Alliance, cautioning that any encroachment on the NCP’s territory could result in unexpected outcomes in key constituencies, including the Kalyan Lok Sabha seat.
