Patna: Political circles in Bihar are abuzz after Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, unfollowed his younger brother and party leader Tejashwi Yadav on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), fuelling speculation of a widening rift within the powerful Yadav family just months ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

Tej Pratap’s sudden move comes days after he unfollowed his sisters, Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, on the same platform. Currently, he follows only five accounts, which include Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Raj Lakshmi Yadav, but not Tejashwi — seen by many as the political heir of the RJD.
