Jayant Patil, the state president of NCP, disclosed that the party would contest on ten seats, including prominent constituencies like Baramati, Madha, Shirur, Satara, Beed, Wardha, Raver, Ahmednagar, and Bhiwandi. The looming deadline for filing candidature for the first phase adds urgency to the candidate selection process, with the Mahavikas Aghadi’s candidate list yet to be finalized.

Media Reports indicate that both the NCP and Shiv Sena are poised to announce their candidate lists at a joint press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday at 3 pm, sparking anticipation over the nominations.
