As Maharashtra gears up for the Lok Sabha elections, the schedule has been set across five phases spanning from April 19 to May 20, with results slated for announcement on June 4. This year’s polls, covering 543 constituencies nationwide over seven phases, promise to be a crucial juncture in India’s democratic journey.
Reflecting on the performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP and Shiv Sena, once allies, secured notable victories. However, ideological disparities led to their eventual parting of ways. In the upcoming polls, Shiv Sena UBT stands poised to carve its own path, fueled by a commitment to champion the aspirations of the people of Maharashtra.
