Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut Targets BJP Ahead of BMC Polls: “Whose Alliance? It’s All Just BJP”

Mumbai: As the political temperature rises ahead of the much-anticipated Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has taken a sharp dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis over alliance talks. Speaking to the media, Raut dismissed any significance of BJP’s coalition-building efforts, asserting that all alliance partners are essentially under BJP’s control.

“Every party prepares its strategy for contesting elections and so will we. If Devendra Fadnavis talks about contesting polls with someone or forming an alliance, that’s his alliance, his decision. But who will they ally with? It’s all BJP, both parties are essentially theirs,” Raut stated.

The remarks come amidst ongoing speculation about BJP’s strategy and potential alliances in Mumbai’s fiercely competitive municipal battle. The Shiv Sena (UBT), led by Uddhav Thackeray, is gearing up to reclaim its dominance over the civic body it ruled for decades before the party’s split.
