As the Lok Sabha elections loom closer, the Shiv Sena is gearing up to reclaim South Mumbai. On Tuesday, Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora inaugurated three new Shiv Sena shakhas in the area. The inauguration ceremony, marked by enthusiasm and purpose, underscored the party’s commitment to addressing the needs of South Mumbai residents.
During the event, Milind Deora stressed the significance of effective representation in South Mumbai. He also drew attention to the absence of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Arvind Sawant, from the constituency.
“There is a pressing need for proactive leadership that is present and accessible to the people,” emphasized Milind Deora, echoing the sentiments of many residents who have felt neglected by their elected representatives.
Deora also expressed confidence in the leadership of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
“Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s visionary approach to governance has inspired Shiv Sena cadres to tirelessly work for the progress and development of Mumbai,” stated Deora. “Under Shinde’s guidance, the party aims to address the pressing issues facing the city and ensure that every voice is heard and represented in the corridors of power.”
The inauguration ceremony of the three shakhas saw the attendance of party cadres, supporters, and local residents, all of whom reiterated their commitment to the Shiv Sena’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive South Mumbai.
