Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut claims No rumblings among MVA leaders

Mumbai: Senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut today said that there are no rumblings among the leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra.

“Such type of words do not exist in our dictionary”, he quipped. “There is no big or small in the alliance. MVA is not a khichdi (government) and it will complete its five years”, Raut said while addressing a press conference.

The Rajya Sabha member of Shiv Sena is in news for interviewing Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president, Sharad Pawar in ‘Saamana’. In a tweet, Raut said, he has had a candid talk with Pawar, which he claimed will create lot of hubbub in the political circles.

He said the interview will soon be published in ‘Saamana’ and also on news channels.

It is for the first time that Raut has interviewed a political leader other than from his own party – Shiv Sena. Raut, the executive editor of the Sena mouthpiece has taken numerous interviews of late Shiv Sena founder, Balasaheb Thackeray and also of its present party president Uddhav Thackeray.

“In the interview which I took of Pawar, he has exuded confidence that this government will remain in power for full five years”, Raut claimed, adding that he would take interviews of important political leaders of the country in time to come.

Speaking on the Governor nominated 12 nominees to Maharashtra Legislative Council (MLC), he said, the deadline of governor appointed nominees came to an end on June 15.

“Late Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray use to say that Constitution of India is way bigger than the god and religion. The state and country should function as per the constitution. The rights given by constitution to the parliament and state legislative assemblies should not be trampled upon”, he remarked.

“Talks are on between the state government and Governor on appointment of these 12 MLCs” he added.
