Saamana and its editorials are often famous nationwide for targeting their rivals. On Friday the Shiv Sena mouthpiece slammed Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi saying “Mr Owaisi at least stop being a cry baby now, Ram Mandir construction has begun”.
Saamana welcomed the commencement of the construction Ram Mandir and slammed Owaisi senior for opposing it. “Construction work on the grand Ram Mandir at Ayodhya has started now. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi too have welcomed this decision yet there are a few villainous leaders who are still unhappy after this auspicious event. As always Mr Owaisi is leading this brigade”, the editorial lambasted the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM or MIM).
The editorial strongly objected to Owaisi’s quote “Babar zinda hai zinda Rahega” which is his Slogan yet Indian Muslim’s did not accepted this. They have welcomed Supreme Court verdict on Ram Mandir issue, stated the Saamana editorial.
Saamana hammered Owaisi questioning “Who is Babar to you? Babar died twice in this nation once 450 years ago and second time in 1992 when Rambhakt’s demolished Babri structure”.
Babar was a foreign infiltrator who attacked India and destroyed Ram Janmabhoomi by building Babri Masjid there. “Why don’t leaders like Owaisi accept this truth?” questioned Saamana editorial.
Owaisi had stated “India is a secular nation. Therefore PM has broken his constitutional promise by attending religious ceremony like Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan”. Saamana retaliated saying “Owaisi’s statement is not liable. He is trying to polarize the atmosphere.” “Owaisi should introspect how much of a secular he actually is.” Saamana added.
Saamana also compared his statements with Pakistani leaders. Saamana which often attacks PM Modi and BJP through its editorials today attacked Owaisi advocating PM’s statements. Yet again after Post Ram Janmabhoomi Pujan religious politics has once again started in the nation.
