Pop sensation Rihanna has arrived in Jamnagar for her highly anticipated performance at the pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Several images and videos of the singer have surfaced on social media platforms, building excitement among fans. Rihanna is scheduled to perform on March 1 during one of the pre-wedding events.
According to reports by India Today, Rihanna’s performance comes with a hefty price tag of nearly $8-$9 million (Rs 66 to 74 crore). The pop icon is expected to dazzle the audience with a medley of her hit songs, including solo tracks like Diamonds. A significant portion of the cost for her performance has reportedly gone into transporting her stage equipment and arranging outfits for both herself and her background performers.
Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding celebrations will kick off on March 1 and extend until March 3. The event will witness the presence of numerous Bollywood celebrities, politicians, sports personalities, and business magnates.
Recent viral images and videos captured Rihanna’s arrival at Jamnagar airport, along with her extensive luggage being transported to the pre-wedding celebration venue. Rihanna’s team members had arrived in Jamnagar a day earlier to prepare for the grand event.
Apart from Rihanna, Indian musical talents such as Diljit Dosanjh, Ajay-Atul, and Arijit Singh are expected to grace the stage. The event will also feature a performance by renowned illusionist David Blaine.
A detailed dress code planner and visual mood board for each theme have been sent to all guests, alongside the invitations, reflecting the meticulous planning behind the lavish celebration.
The star-studded bash will see the presence of Bollywood luminaries including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Manushi Chhillar, and many more.
Anant and Radhika exchanged rings during a Gol Dhana ceremony in Mumbai on January 19, 2023, marking the beginning of their journey towards marital bliss.
