Mumbai: In a groundbreaking move for India’s satellite internet landscape, Reliance Jio has announced a strategic partnership with Elon Musk-led SpaceX to offer Starlink’s broadband internet services to Indian consumers. This agreement comes just a day after Jio’s biggest competitor, Airtel, signed a similar deal with Starlink, signaling an industry-wide push toward satellite-powered connectivity.

Reliance Jio’s parent company, Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), confirmed the agreement in a statement, saying, “Jio Platforms Limited (JPL) announced an agreement with SpaceX to offer Starlink’s broadband internet services to its customers in India.”

The agreement remains subject to SpaceX receiving necessary regulatory approvals in India. However, the collaboration will enable Jio and SpaceX to explore how Starlink can expand Jio’s services while Jio supports SpaceX’s direct-to-consumer and business offerings. Jio plans to sell Starlink’s solutions through its retail stores and online platforms.

Mathew Oommen, Group CEO of Reliance Jio, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding high-speed internet access in India, stating, “Ensuring that every Indian, no matter where they live, has access to affordable and high-speed broadband remains Jio’s top priority.”

In my view, if all website owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the net might be a lot more useful than ever before.
