Mumbai: A heartfelt musical tribute titled ‘Echoes of a Timeless Voice’ was recorded at LC Studios, Andheri West, Mumbai, to commemorate the 82nd birth anniversary of legendary Indian music composer, lyricist and playback singer, Late Shri Ravindra Jain Ji.

The tribute song “Dadu Hamare Dadu”, composed by Sohini Mishra with lyrics by Suresh Tiwari, was released on February 27 on Ravindra Jain’s official YouTube channel. The tribute was also held at the late maestro’s residence in Mumbai, where artists gathered to celebrate his enduring musical legacy.

Renowned playback singers including Suresh Wadkar, Sadhana Sargam, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Madhushree, Pamela Jain, Ravi Tripathi, and Tarannum Malik paid their respects through soulful renditions. Fondly remembered as “Dadu” by fans and the music fraternity, Ravindra Jain is celebrated for seamlessly blending traditional Indian ethos with contemporary musical expression.

Speaking on the occasion, singer Pamela Jain said, “As a playback singer, I have always learned by listening to his songs. Shri Ravindra Jain Ji was my inspiration, mentor, guru, and godfather. I have learned immensely from his quality music. This tribute reflects our deep love, emotions, and respect for him on his birth anniversary, which falls on February 28.”

The performances reflected the profound love and admiration artists continue to hold for the late composer. The tribute stands as a reminder that Ravindra Jain’s voice and legacy remain timeless in Indian music.
