This marks the government’s initial response after two individuals entered the Lok Sabha, releasing yellow gas, prompting opposition demands for statements from PM Modi or Home Minister Amit Shah. As both houses convened, opposition members chanted ‘Shame, shame,’ leading to adjournments amid heightened tensions.
The breach heightened tensions between BJP and the opposition, with the intruders carrying passes bearing BJP MP Pratap Simha’s name. Rajnath Singh emphasized the need for vigilance among all MPs, stressing the necessity to prevent disruptions within the House following the unfortunate incident.
