According to him, the delegation informed the President that their constitutional rights were being undermined after a major political realignment, where a significant number of MPs chose to associate with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Chadha claimed that state agencies in Punjab are being used to exert pressure on dissenting leaders. He cited incidents involving senior figures, alleging harassment through administrative actions, including legal cases and disruptions to business operations.
