Srinagar: In a significant boost to the district’s healthcare facilities, Quality Care Hospital in Bramri has donated a state-of-the-art critical care ambulance to the public. The donation was formally marked at a function attended by top officials, including Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Ayushi Sudan, SSP Kupwara Ghulam Jeelani, GMC Handwara Principal Professor Dr Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, CMO Kupwara Dr. M Ramzan, and other senior administrative figures.
DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudan hailed the initiative as a major milestone for the region’s growing healthcare sector. “The introduction of this critical care ambulance is set to be a game changer for emergency medical services in Kupwara. It will significantly enhance our ability to provide timely care to those in need,” she said.
Quality Care Hospital Managing Director Dr Abdul Majeed revealed that the ambulance, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, was prepared in Hyderabad at a cost of ₹36 lakh. He emphasized that the vehicle has been dedicated to the general public, ensuring that advanced emergency care is accessible to all residents of the district.
The donation is expected to play a crucial role in reducing response time during emergencies and improving overall patient care in critical situations. With this initiative, Quality Care Hospital reaffirms its commitment to enhancing healthcare services and supporting the community in Kupwara.
