A solemn family journey turned into a heartbreaking tragedy after a devastating road accident in Punjab’s Ferozepur district claimed the lives of nine people and left several others injured.
According to officials, the victims were travelling in a jeep to perform the immersion of a deceased relative’s ashes when their vehicle was involved in a violent collision with a truck. The impact was so severe that multiple occupants died at the scene before emergency teams could arrive.
