Nagpur: Maharashtra Revenue Minister and State BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Thursday led a grand Tiranga Yatra in Nagpur to express solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces, as part of a larger state-wide initiative involving more than 1,500 Tiranga rallies.

Speaking to the media, Bawankule said, “Over 1500 Tiranga rallies are being organised in Maharashtra between today and 20th May. Yesterday, CM Devendra Fadnavis conducted a Tiranga rally in Mumbai. People from all NDA parties are taking part in these rallies. There will also be ‘Sindoor’ rallies. The public is with our Armed Forces and the nation.”

The Tiranga Yatras, backed by the NDA, are being seen as a powerful visual show of patriotism in the wake of recent anti-terror operations and Operation Sindoor. These rallies are being organised not only to honour the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers but also to unify citizens across party lines in support of national security and defence.

The massive mobilisation in Nagpur saw enthusiastic participation from party workers, local citizens, and leaders from allied parties, waving the national flag and chanting slogans of unity and patriotism. The rally also showcased visuals and messages celebrating the Indian Army’s recent operational successes.
