Bhagalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a blistering attack on the opposition in Bihar, accusing them of disrespecting India’s heritage and faith while mocking the Maha Kumbh. His remarks come amid opposition criticism over mismanagement, accidents, and lack of clean water at the world’s largest spiritual gathering.
Addressing a massive crowd in Bhagalpur, PM Modi linked Bihar’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy with India’s progress. “This land has faith, heritage, and the potential of a developed India. This is the land of Shaheed Tilka Majhi and also the Silk City. During this holy time, I have had the privilege of sending another instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to farmers across the country,” he said.
Taking a sharp dig at the RJD and opposition parties, Modi declared, “These people who believe in ‘Jungle Raj’ hate our heritage and faith. They are insulting the Maha Kumbh, which is the greatest symbol of India’s unity and spirituality.”
Highlighting the record-breaking footfall at the event, the Prime Minister noted, “More people have taken a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh than the total population of Europe.”
He praised the NDA government at the Centre and in Bihar, stating that both are working together to preserve India’s glorious heritage and build a strong future.
