Bhubaneswar: A photo of BJP leader Baijayant Jay Panda and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor traveling together on a flight has ignited political curiosity on social media. Panda shared the image on X with a cryptic caption, “My friend & fellow traveler called me mischievous for saying that we seem to be finally travelling in the same direction.”
However, Tharoor was quick to clarify that he was heading to Bhubaneswar for the Kalinga Literary Festival, dismissing any political speculation. The viral photo comes amid ongoing chatter about Tharoor’s seemingly neutral stance towards the BJP, further fueled by his recent meeting with Union Minister Piyush Goyal.
The 11th edition of the Kalinga Literary Festival began on March 21 and will host over 400 writers and intellectuals worldwide for three days. While Tharoor’s Congress ties remain intact, his interactions with BJP leaders continue to raise eyebrows.
