Sitamarhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a fierce attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), calling the 65% voter turnout in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections a massive rejection of the opposition’s “Jungle Raj” politics.

Addressing a packed rally in Sitamarhi, Modi said the enthusiasm among voters showed that Bihar’s people had made up their minds for progress and stability under the NDA. “Phase 1 voter turnout in Bihar is a 65-volt ‘jhatka’ to Jungle Raj,” he declared, as the crowd erupted in applause.

Continuing his criticism of the RJD, the Prime Minister said the opposition’s campaign exposed its mindset toward the youth of Bihar. “Listen to the songs and slogans of the Jungle Raj people — you will be shocked. On their stages, innocent children are being made to say they want to become extortionists. Should Bihar’s children become extortionists or doctors?” he asked.

PM Modi urged voters to turn out in large numbers for Phase 2 on November 11, asserting that only the NDA can protect Bihar from infiltrators and ensure lasting development.
