Lucknow: A 52-year-old passenger, Aashif Daulla Ansari, was found dead aboard Air India flight AI2845 after it landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow on Friday morning. The flight, which arrived from New Delhi, landed at 8:10 AM, and the shocking discovery was made when crew members attempted to wake him up.
Ansari, a resident of Gopalganj, Bihar, did not respond when a stewardess approached him to clear his food tray. Concerned, the cabin crew alerted doctors on board, who examined him and declared him dead.
A spokesperson for the Lucknow airport confirmed the incident, stating, “This morning, a male passenger, who was unwell, arrived at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow. Our medical team responded immediately, providing first aid before transporting him to the hospital in an Advanced Life Support ambulance.”
The spokesperson added, “We are deeply saddened to learn that he later passed away. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.”
The exact cause of Ansari’s death remains unknown, and authorities are investigating the matter. Panic gripped fellow passengers as the tragic incident unfolded.
