Mumbai: “Satyamev Jayate,” NCP chief Sharad Pawars grandnephew Parth Pawar tweeted on Wednesday after the Supreme Court upheld the transfer of Patna Police’s FIR in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide case to the CBI. The apex court directed the countrys premier investigation agency to probe the case.
It may be recalled that Parth Pawar, who was recently publicly reprimanded by the NCP patriarch recently for seeking a CBI probe into the case of Rajput’s death, tweeted the remark, which means truth shall prevail, without making any reference to the case.
He is the elder son of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar, who is the nephew of the NCP party president.
Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, who was staunchly opposing a CBI probe into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, on Wednesday, said the government will comment after receiving a copy of the order from the Supreme Court. On the Issue of Parth Tweet he refused to talk and said that Parth made the request senior Pawar reacted on it, what I can say.
On the actions of Parth Pawar, MLA Rohit Pawar told thenews21 that, “we all believe that Sushant Singh Rajput should get justice. However, we stand firmly behind the Mumbai Police. I don’t know about Parth’s tweet. But the tweet can be interpreted as the person wants it to be. It depends on everyone’s personal understanding.”
“In the case of Sushant Singh, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh should resign immediately. It is unfortunate that the Mumbai Police Commissioner did not file an FIR for two months. I hope the Thackeray government will learn a lesson from this. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family will now get justice,” said BJP leader Kirit Somaiya
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, while giving a stern response, said that “if there is demand of resignation, then it will go up to Delhi. Truth and justice always win,” Raut said. The rule of law prevails in Maharashtra.
Asked about the Mumbai Police probe, Raut said, “Mumbai Police was investigating the case properly. There is no one above the law. The allegations are not true.”
“It is not right for me to talk about legal action in the government who is knowledgeable about the law or only the Commissioner of Mumbai Police or the Advocate General can talk about the Supreme Court decision,” Raut said. He said that the Supreme Court has given its verdict in this case and when the complete information comes to us, the spokesperson on behalf of the government will speak in this matter.
“I don’t know what Parth Pawar tweeted. But his demand for CBI probe was right. I don’t want to comment on whether his grandparents liked his demand or not. But his demand has been upheld by the Supreme Court in a way. So maybe he tweeted about it, “said BJP leader and Ex-CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis.
“The Supreme Court order will boost people’s faith in the judiciary. The state government needs to Introspect about mistakes in in handling of the case. Once this decision is taken, the CBI will conduct an inquiry soon. Sushant Singh Rajput case and his crores of fans will get justice through this,”said Devendra Fadnavis.
“The court did not give a damn about the political role of the Maharashtra government,” said Ram Kadam. “Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans and family members were demanding a CBI probe into his death. The government stuck to its role due to ego. He also did not allow the Mumbai Police to function properly. Their work was often hampered,” Kadam said.
“CBI inquiries were often demanded from everyone. But they did not allow it. The government insulted millions of Sushant’s fans and his family. The government’s role was to try to save a big man. Whatever decision is taken now will be just,” Kadam said
The Maharashtra government should introspect why this time has come. This government is not for the people, but for how to abuse power for self. Therefore, this decision is very appropriate,”said Narayan Rane. I think Sanjay Raut should keep his mouth shut.
“Police should conduct proper investigation to maintain their dignity and law and order. No one has been arrested yet, not even the 8th party has been investigated. So this was bound to happen. The way the government was using the police, handling everything, was questionable. Even if something is done now, the damage to Mumbai police image is already done.” said Narayan Rane.
Nitesh Rane was seen tweeting a suggestion on social media. “Now baby penguin is gone … it’s show time”, he wrote in this tweet.
Ex-Mumbai congress chief Sanjay Nirupam advised on tweeter that, “Mumbai Police should not raise the question of undeserved reputation. They should follow the order of the Supreme Court and Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe should be handed over to #CBI.
“No one has any doubt about the capacity of Mumbai Police. But the investigation of this case was getting lax. It was visible,”
Senior BJP leader and EX- Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar raised many questions like, “It is said that slippers in front of the temple cannot be stolen if the police decide. This dialogue of “Singham” is one hundred percent true. But why didn’t Mumbai Police acted freely in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput? who did not let them decide? No one allowed them to work according to their name, fame? Who didn’t let the Mumbai police speak? The hands of the police are bound by law, but in Sushant’s case, was someone else who tied hands of the police?” The Supreme Court referred the investigation to the CBI. Will the state government take responsibility for the concealment of our Mumbai police in this case? ”
